What level of flotation does this life jacket provide?

Most Astral life jackets are US Coast Guard Type III approved, designed to provide a minimum of 15.5 lbs of buoyancy for adults in calm inland waters. Check your specific product page for exact certification details.

How do I know which size to choose?

Measure your chest at the widest point and compare to our size chart. If you are between sizes, size up for layering. The jacket should fit snugly without restricting arm movement or breathing.

Can I wear this life jacket for multiple activities?
